Welcome to Resunote Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our resume builder web application, including all related services, features, and content (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
1. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must: - Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction); - Provide accurate and complete registration information; - Be legally permitted to use the Service under applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.
2. Subscription Plans and Billing
We offer both free and paid subscription plans. - Introductory Period: For new users, the first 7 days are offered at a discounted price of $3.44. - After the initial 7 days, your subscription will automatically renew at the regular rate unless canceled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All payments are securely processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s terms. Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment to be considered.
3. User Content and Ownership
You own all content you upload or create on the platform, including resumes, cover letters, profile data, and images. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, encrypted license to store and process your content for the purpose of delivering and improving the Service.
Upon account deletion: - Personal information (name, email, profile image, PDFs) is immediately deleted. - Resume and cover letter data may be retained in anonymized and encrypted form for internal analytics and service optimization. We do not share, sell, or access your personal resume content for advertising or profiling.
4. Data Collection and Use
We collect and process: - Basic information (name, email, IP address, password) - Uploaded content (resumes, cover letters, profile images) - Social/profile links and authentication data (Google, Microsoft)
We rely on trusted infrastructure and service providers: - Stripe for billing - Google / Microsoft for authentication - AWS / MongoDB for hosting and storage - OpenAI for AI-powered features

5. AI-Powered Features
The platform includes AI-based features powered by OpenAI to help you: - Tailor resumes to job descriptions - Generate professional summaries - Score and evaluate resumes - Parse content from uploaded PDFs - Auto-apply to job postings
AI-generated content is automatically created and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all AI-assisted outputs.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or misleading purposes; - Upload content that infringes on intellectual property or personal rights; - Attempt to reverse engineer, crawl, or clone any part of our platform; - Misuse AI features to impersonate individuals or falsify qualifications.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time via your settings. Deletion is immediate.
Upon deletion: - All personal data is removed from our systems. - Encrypted and anonymized resume data may be retained solely for internal improvement purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding: - Job offers or hiring outcomes; - Compatibility with all devices or browsers; - Error-free performance or uninterrupted access. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resunote Inc. is not liable for: - Lost data, lost income, or hiring decisions; - Indirect or consequential damages; - Platform outages, third-party failures, or data transmission errors. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid us in the past six months.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Resunote Inc., its employees, and affiliates from claims arising out of: - Your use of the Service; - Any content you provide; - Any violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts located in Delaware.

We reserve the right to remove or disable infringing content.
13. Severability and Waiver
If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the rest will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the platform after changes implies your acceptance.
